Eat, drink & be merry celebrating your Wee Wedding day!
Vegetarian soup will be waiting on the stove when you arrive for your Wee Wedding. Your Wee Wedding hamper is filled with local produce including cheeses, olives, crackers and organic wine.
Alan will also prepare a delicious self serve three course meal. You simply chose from our seasonal menu which we'll send to you prior to when we finalise the details of your day.
THREE COURSE DINNER
SERVED WITH ORGANIC WINE
Chicken liver parfait served with chutney & biscuits (GF)
French onion soup (VE & GF)
Chicken Balmoral - chicken breast stuffed with haggis served with a whisky and Arran mustard cream sauce
Slow cooked feather blade of beef (GF)
Roasted butternut squash, beetroot & gravy pie (VE)
All served with rosti potatoes and seasonal roast vegetables.
Toffee apple crumble, White chocolate and raspberry cheesecake or Sticky toffee pudding (VE & GF)
CHAMPAGNE AFTERNOON TEA
Included in your Wee Wedding package is an afternoon tea with Alan's award winning cakes, sausage rolls, sandwiches and quiches served with delicate teas and delicious organic Champagne perfectly chilled.
HAMPERS OF GOODIES
Delicious hampers to share are included in your wee wedding package for you and your guests. The hampers are made to nibble and share and include the best of our local Scottish produce.
The hampers may include a selection of chocolates, cheese and crackers, stuffed olives, sunblush tomatoes and a selection of chutneys.
WEE WEDDING CAKES
If you fancy a wee cake to cut on the day and make a wedding wish, then we have some amazing makers and bakers that we can recommend!
Or bring a plain iced cake from Marks and Spencer or Waitrose and we'd be delighted to decorate with ribbons and flowers to match your wedding blooms.
VEGAN WEE WEDDINGS
Your vegan friendly wee wedding will ensure all your welcoming soup, hamper of goodies, wines and champagne are vegan in addition to your afternoon tea and evening meal
Please note that Crear is a working sheep farm and the rugs and blankets in the bedrooms are made from sheep wool which we're happy to remove prior to your arrival.
As we don't wish to offend, please note Iain, your wedding piper, will be in Number One Highland Dress with a wool kilt, leather shoes, feather bonnet and horse hair sporren unless otherwise requested.
LOCAL EATERIES AND RESTAURANTS
We are within walking distance of the Kilberry Inn, recently voted Best Restaurant in Scotland. Opening times are seasonal & booking is essential. Please note that covers are strictly limited to four at one sitting.
A stunning drive down the Kintryre peninsula to Southend is so worth the journey when you taste the delicious cakes at the Muneroy Restaurant & Tearoom.
FRESHLY CAUGHT FISH AND SEAFOOD
Crear is heaven for lovers of seafood!
Enjoy freshly caught langustine, lobsters and crab plus array of fish.
Caisealrag Cottage and Crear House are fully equipped to self cater so pop down to Tarbert, the local fishing village for the daily catch!
WEDDINGS FOR FOODIES
Small Gourmet Weddings are perfect for foodies if you're looking to enjoy being catered for on your wedding day by one of the most talented chefs in Scotland today.
Alan heads up the chef brigade at Crear Kitchen and Small Gourmet Weddings are a real celebration of his talent with a six course tasting menu with organic and biodynamic Champagne and wine.
SMALL GOURMET WEDDINGS
Small and perfectly formed wedding parcels include twelve guests staying as a houseparty for two or three nights, the most delicious Gourmet Six Course Tasting Wedding Breakfast by our superstar chef, orgainic wines and Champagne, wedding flowers to your specification, professional photography and a Highland piper to add a dash to your day.
Our packages are extremely flexible and you are welcome to invite additional day guests who can stay locally to your wedding celebrations.
30 adults and wee ones is the maximum number for small weddings.
