Wee Wedding Guests staying at Caisealrag Cottage Annex with its own private entrance
Up to 4 additional guests £245 per person two nights mid-week and £295 per person for a weekend. Includes a button hole or jacket corsage, a hamper to share, afternoon tea and a three course fine dining self serve dinner with wine. You’re welcome to swap the button hole and corsage for an extra bottle of wine or champagne. You can also swap your wine for extra flowers and cakes!
Children aged 12 and under are 50% off additional guest rate, with no charge for children under 5. Pop up beds can be provided £15 per night. Two well behaved dogs welcome at £10 per dog per night.
Please note that Wee Weddings at Caisealrag Cottage are for a maximum of 6 guests, including the bridal couple.

We have a Special Wee Wedding Offer of two nights exclusive use at Crear House, perched on the hillside with views to the Isles of Islay, Gigha & the famous Paps of Jura. With everything, you could wish for to complete a stress-free wedding day including your bridal flowers, wedding photography, a bottle of champagne, delicious hamper, & our award-winning piper Iain to pipe your wedding music. Double Wee Weddings are a perfect way to share your special day with close friends who have similar ideas in mind. Our special double wee wedding package allows you to split the costs 50/50.
Two nights for two couples exclusive use, Iain to pipe in full Highland Dress, professional photography of your day allowing for a little more time, bridal bouquets & button holes plus two bottles of our delicious house champagne to celebrate & hampers to nibble.

You are responsible for arranging your personal legal paperwork & your marriage ceremony with the celebrant of your choice directly. All payments are made directly to your celebrant.
Whoever conducts your ceremony, you must registrar your marriage no less than four weeks prior to arrival with our local Registrar. Please contact our local Registrar, Shona Brechin directly for more information regarding any legal aspect of your marriage including visa requirements etc. Two witnesses are required & must be aged 16 & over.
Booking Your Wee Wedding
To confirm your chosen Wee Wedding dates in the Crear diary, your booking letter will be sent by email. Your non-refundable deposit of £750 is required within seven days to confirm your Wee Wedding in the Crear diary. The easiest and most secure way to make payment is by BACS.

Book Your Marriage Celebrant
The next step is to book a marriage celebrant to conduct your wee wedding ceremony. The Registrars conduct civil weddings. All other marriages, including Humanist, are classed as religious or belief weddings. If your marriage celebrant is unable to attend at the time and date agreed with us, please liaise with us before confirming your final plans.

Your Legal Marriage Paperwork
Contact our local registry office in Lochgilphead regarding all your legal paperwork and, if relevant, marriage visas required to enter the UK. The Head Registrar, Shona Brechin, would be delighted to advise directly. Call her on 01546 604515.
The earliest you can submit by post your Notice of Marriage legal paperwork is 3 months prior to your wedding date, however please do not leave it any later than 4 weeks before.
A Marriage Visa stating purpose of visit, may be required to enter the UK for non-EU passport holders. Your Marriage Visa will also be required to be submitted with your Notice of Marriage legal paperwork. Please ensure you allow sufficient time for this to be processed.
If you require witnesses for your marriage ceremony simply write CREAR on your paperwork.
Hair & Make Up Artists
Please arrange your hair and make- up directly.
Finalising Your Wee Wedding Details Including Your Flowers and your Final Balance
Please email or call us eight weeks prior to your arrival to finalise all the details of your day, including your choice of colours and style for your bridal flowers and any extras required.
Your final Wee Wedding balance is payable in full four weeks prior to arrival.
An Emergency Contact Number
Before you arrive, we require an emergency contact number if it's just the two of you. We would only call in extreme circumstances where we would need to notify your next of kin.
Contact details of your invited guests are also required. It's helpful to know if you or your guests have food allergies.
Caisealrag Cottage & Crear House
Caisealrag Cottage and Crear House are fully equipped to self-cater with everything you need for your Wee Wedding, including an iron & ironing board, hair dryers, towels and a washing machine. Mobile coverage is limited so a landline is provided for your use.
Your Arrival Day
Please let use know your expected time of arrival so we can be here to welcome you.Please use our map and driving directions as Sat Navs may send you in the wrong direction. Please note that mobile coverage is patchy in Argyll.
For religious and belief marriages, including Humanist, you are required to collect your marriage paperwork in person from the Lochgilphead Registry Office during office hours.
Remember to stock up at our nearest shops in Lochgilphead with all your edible goodies.
When you arrive the door will be open with some welcoming home made vegetarian soup on the stove along with your Wee Wedding hamper. One of the team will pop in after you arrive to ensure you have everything you need.
Your Wedding Day
Just let us know if you need help with buttons and bows or dressing in a kilt and we would be happy to help. Please also advise if you would like ‘getting ready’ shots otherwise your Crear photographer will arrive along with your piper half an hour before your marriage ceremony. They will bring your bridal flowers with them.
You can decide on the day the exact spot for your marriage ceremony, be it inside or out. The beach is a ten-minute walk.
Your photographs will be sent on a USB stick in high resolution files within three weeks of your wedding.

A non-refundable deposit of £750 secures the dates of your choice in our diary.
The balance of Caisealrag Cottage or Crear House hire & any other services we are providing is payable eight weeks before your arrival. You can pay by BACS, cheque or any major credit, or debit card. Prices are inclusive of VAT & include all arrangements made on your behalf by Crear.
We strongly recommend you take out a Wedding Insurance. Prices start at £50. Many Crear couples have used Event Insurance to date. Lucy Evans deals directly with Crear bookings.
Should you require to rearrange the date of your wedding, we are happy to do so, subject to availability and £375 rearrangement fee, up until four months before your arrival date. After this time you would have to pay a new non-refundable deposit of £750. The rearrangement fee is due and payable within seven days of the date of your new booking letter, to secure your new dates.
