The B8024 is a single track road with passing places.

The front door will be open and your Wee Wedding hamper will be waiting, along with some vegetarian soup on the stove, so just make yourselves at home.
If you are running late then please let us know by phoning 01880 770369.
Unless it’s very late, myself or one of the Crear team will pop in or call when you have arrived to welcome you and ensure you have everything you need.

We have everything required to self-cater including fridge and freezer, iron and ironing board plus a hand held steamer, hairdryers and towels.
The heating is underfloor and programmed to be cosy in the bathrooms and cooler in the bedrooms.
Wi-Fi has a very relaxed pace which is liable to stall when it’s windy. Please note that mobile coverage is limited in Argyll.

You will pass the original Loch Fyne Oyster Bar en-route for fresh seafood.
We also highly recommend lunch at the George Hotel in Inveraray.
The closest shops (and fuel) to Crear are in Lochgilphead, with a butchers and greengrocers, deli and fishmonger on the main street.
There is also a Co-op supermarket next to the Registrar's office. Please remember to stock up on provisions on your way. 

On your wedding day everyone will arrive half an hour before your ceremony is due to start, bringing your wedding flowers.
If you have any requests of traditional tunes for Iain to pipe, you are welcome to ask him on the day.
If you need any help getting ready with buttons and bows, we are happy to help.

PHOTOGRAPHS Your photographer is part of the talented Crear Collective who we’ve invited to work with us. Your wedding photographs will be sent within four weeks via your personal online gallery at www.crearphotography.com where you can order prints, cards and beautiful handmade albums.

EAT Your Wee Wedding Hamper is filled with local cheeses and delicious crackers, olives, handmade Crear Kitchen chocolates and other goodies. Plus a bottle of chilled champagne which will be waiting in the fridge. Your wedding brunch and three course dinner with wine will be with you when requested.

In the kitchen you will find salt and pepper, tea and coffee, cling film and silver foil, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets and tea towels.

SLEEP Your bed will be made up with crisp cotton linen with feather free bedding. There is an abundance of fluffy white bath towels. Plus hairdryers, irons, ironing board and a hand held steamer.

WATER Crear takes its name from the Gaelic criathar, referring to the natural water filtration process of the Crear burn which originates high in the hills at Loch Nan Torran. As a private water supply, please don’t leave taps running and please use the bathroom bins provided for anything other than loo paper.

BEACH As there is the right to roam in Scotland, anyone not directly involved with your Wee Wedding will be politely asked to leave for the duration of your marriage ceremony and photographs. There are many other wonderful beaches close by that we would expect to be deserted, so please ask the team for directions if you wish to enjoy a picnic in private later in the day.

DOGS Well behaved dogs are very welcome!  Please note that Crear is a working sheep farm so dogs must be kept on leads and under close control at all times.

THINGS TO DO Crear is situated in a rich prehistoric landscape with stone circles, standing stones, burial cairns and rock art dating back to 3000BC.
