A provisional booking will be held for 7 days, to be confirmed on receipt of a non-refundable deposit of £250 incl VAT for Caisealrag Cottage.
It is understood that, on payment of the deposit, you have read and accepted our Terms & Conditions.
On receipt of deposit, the booking will be confirmed by email.
We are happy to rearrange dates, if required, for an administrative fee of £50 incl VAT.
All arrangements and legal matters regarding your wedding ceremony or civil partnership are your sole responsibility.
Please note that, if you are planning a last minute commitment, the Registrar requires three weeks' notice. For non-UK passport holders, please allow three months for the relevant paperwork and visas to be in place.

We will be happy to act as witnesses. Written confirmation is required, stating date and time of ceremony, two weeks prior to arrival. We cannot guarantee that we can act as witnesses without this information.
It is your responsibility to provide the witnesses' names and addresses, after confirmation with us, to the Registrar.
Delivery of flowers, cakes, favours, etc., to take place on day of arrival only.
Any guest engaging a 3rd party (such as bands or DJs), to operate within Caisealrag and its grounds, must ensure that the 3rd party has in place current and adequate public liability insurance; copies of electrical testing certificates and insurance policies must be made available on request.
You are responsible for all arrangements, confirmation, and payment, with all external suppliers direct.
You are responsible for all arrangements with Caisealrag Transfers direct. Cancellation fee for any long distance drive, including airport/train collection, with less than 24 hours notice will be charged at 100%.
Payments:
Confirmation of Booking: A NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of £250 incl VAT for Caisealrag Cottage is required to secure and guarantee your choice of dates. The balance is payable one month prior to the date of your arrival. Please note that no reminder will be sent. Should this not be received within said timescale, this may result in cancellation/postponement of Crear’s services.
Full fixed costs, including Caisealrag transfers and flowers provided, are payable 14 days prior to your arrival.
Please call us to provide details of your Credit Card or Debit Card for our file. For your own protection, we request that you do not post or e-mail card details. This will be charged for any incidentals authorised by the cardholder signatory only.
Payments can be made as follows:-
- BACS transfer
- Credit card, excluding American Express (A Handling Charge of 2.5% is applied to Credit Card transactions where the value exceeds £250.00)
- Debit card
- Personal cheques made to the CREAR TRUST accompanied and limited by cheque card guarantee
- Cash payments
Prices are inclusive of VAT at 17.5% and are subject to change with no further notice.
Crear (Caisealrag) may have to make changes for reason of Force Majeure, meaning unusual or unforeseeable circumstances beyond its control, the consequences of which neither our suppliers nor we could avoid. Example: industrial disputes, natural disaster, fire or adverse weather conditions or similar events beyond our control. Under these circumstances, Crear will endeavour to reschedule the Clients wedding day or source an alternative venue. Crear shall not be liable for any loss or damage or costs resulting from a Force Majeure event.
Crear (Caisealrag) strongly recommends that the Client seeks appropriate insurance.
Damage to the property, and damage/breakages caused to the fabric or contents of Caisealrag, by you, your dog, or your guests, during their stay, are your responsibility and completely chargeable to your account.
Children must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult.
The number of people occupying Caisealrag Cottage must not exceed numbers agreed (six guests and two dogs maximum). We reserve the right to remove person or persons from the property due to unreasonable behaviour, damage to the property or exceeding the stated occupancy. No refund will be given.
Corkage on BYO will be charged at £10 per person 18 years and over if we are providing catering for you.
Vehicles, accessories and contents are left at their owners risk. Crear (Caisealrag) will not be responsible for any loss or damage or any injury to persons not caused through the fault of Crear.
The governing law of the contract is the Law of Scotland.
Payment of the deposit will be regarded as acceptance of our Terms & Conditions which are legally binding. Any questions relating to any aspect of the terms and conditions, or regarding any aspect of the services or venue that Crear (Caisealrag) will provide, must be raised prior to accepting our terms.
